Code Monkey stands for Clint's Open-Source Development Environment. Its like a development environment on bananas.
Essentially, it let's you code in a fully hosted environment (linux) with a rocking IDE (eclipse) with subversion ability, libraries and we even threw in all the popular open-source CMS systems to play with....
We worry about keeping the software up to date, centralized and rocked out. You worry about making kick ass applications.
What do you need and what does it cost?
I wish we could get paid in bananas, but pennies will suffice. You'll need your own Amazon Web Services account (EC2 and S3). We charge a few pennies on top of the hourly cost at EC2 (.10 pennies for amazon, .5 for us for a small instance per hour).
This is currently used in house and we have plans to expand it in the near future for other developers. |
