Cloud Computing = Scalability

Everything we build at npT is in the cloud.  By cloud, we mean the ultra-secure, scalable Amazon Web Services. Cloud computing refers to the new ability of using servers onDemand.  In the 'old' way, web companies needed to purchase expensive hardware to keep up with traffic, dramatically increasing the price to run a fully-scalable web application. Today, we can build projects with scalability in mind so when your Facebook app gets 3million people adding their bad hair college pictures, the cloud can handle it.
